
First Solar has received significant federal funding, including a recent $8 million 81.087 Renewable Energy Research & Development Grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, which triggers the Davis-Bacon Act. The Davis-Bacon Act requires that construction workers are paid the area wage and benefit standard.
